The coastline can be a very random place. Each tide brings new flotsam up onto the beach and the next removes it. The coast at Pembrokeshire is covered with shells, pebbles, seaweed and obviously sand. While on a short trip to the coast I noticed a similarity in the seaweed. Although it was strewn across the shoreline, each was attached to a stone. All the stones with their seaweed were facing the same way. I though this would be a perfect typology and set out documenting them.
